Shilpa has worked in the Energy and Commodities industry for 20 years in sales and growth strategy for power investments, determining key regions, technologies, partners, customers and ways to differentiate EFS capital. She led a team at Genscape that built a framework for valuing capacity markets, emission credits and fuel constraints. She has built a reputation and foundation by understanding the energy in the financial marketplace, the constant shifting of trends and market moving events. She also looks after the impacts these attributes present on clients from physical upstream, midstream, and downstream operations to their physical and financial trading, hedging and risk management activities.

Prior to Avestar Capital, Shilpa has also been a Senior Marketing, Human Capital and Sales Executive with a proven track record generating revenue within the US and Global Clients. She has spent almost the last two decades in Marketing and Development roles in the Energy and Financial Services markets. Shilpa has built a foundation by understanding the energy and financial marketplace, the constant shifting of trends, market moving events and the impacts they present to her clients from physical upstream, midstream and downstream operations to their physical and financial trading, hedging and risk management activities.

Shilpa holds in-depth and abundant knowledge and experience in Data Management, Data Storage, Hosting Infrastructure, Big Data, and Energy/Commodity Markets. Having experienced senior sales executive skills in building top-producing relationships driving new sales. She possesses strong technical knowledge and expertise in visualizing and conceptualizing customized solutions including overall project management expertise. Avestar Capital also benefits a lot from her expertise in real-time market data solutions, energy and commodities, telecommunications, data center, trading floor, hosting, and cloud-based solutions. She holds an excellent track record in identifying, negotiating and winning critical contracts, resolving contractual issues, and closing large deals.

Shilpa is flexible, adaptable and capable of quickly learning the new tactics required in the finance industry with uncompromising ethics and integrity. She has always been a team player and well aligned with the wavelength of all our employees. Shilpa actively contributes to Avestar Capital in order to match the goals of the near future alongside managing projects to their fullest capacity.

Her past experiences include her crucial role at YES Energy, where she was responsible for all operational, marketing and business development. Shilpa graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Computer Science and Finance. Shilpa has always been very career driven and her knack for understanding financial advisory gets more refined each day.
